Conference on the protection of human life and the protection of buildings against forced entry and terrorist attacks, 18. + 19. September 2019
The two-day conference will deal with current security issues. The ever-growing threat situation and the increased need for security are becoming more and more important in today's planning. Increasing requirements pose ever more complex challenges for building owners, architects, security adviser and producers in the development and implementation of new multi security concepts.
In order to take an even more detailed look at new concepts and innovations, we have added an event day to the conference and invite you to join us on Wednesday, 18.09.2019. The SÄLZER experts will present the latest forced entry, bullet, explosion and fire tests as well as our new product developments and improvements. They will show combined protection concepts and use demand-oriented examples to explain modern multi security developments. Furthermore we will present our ballistics test center. The first day will end with a joint BBQ.
Donation for the society for parents for leukaemia and tumour affected children
As every year SÄLZER GmbH supports the ‘society for parents for leukaemia and tumour affected children’ with a donation of 5000€ to support their important work (www.elterninitiative-kinderkrebs-marburg.de).
Families whose children have fallen ill are energetic supported by the society in all aspects, for example they accompany children and parents to the doctor or they take care of the sibling.
"It is a matter of the heart to support this important remarkable work" said Walther Sälzer during a ceremony. Karl Kreh thanked them and was very happy about this traditional appointment at SÄLZER. "It is a huge support for us, because we need such donations for our work" says Kreh.
Also the workforce of SÄLZER participated again with a donation of 200 € from the tombola of the Christmas presents. This amount has been doubled by the couple Elke and Walther Sälzer. SÄLZER at the exhibition BAU 14.-19. January 2019, hall B3 booth 501
BAU 2019 the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems will take place again in Munich from 14. up to 19. January. We would be pleased to welcome you to our stand no 501 located in hall B3 where we will present our latest developments. The highlight is our emergency exit double door series S6es. This multi-security glazed aluminum door with large glazed area is unique to the market place. The high security door offers combined protection against forced entry, ballistic and blast attacks. It is equipped with fittings according to DIN EN 179 and DIN EN 1125, so the door can used as security entrance door and is capable of both door leaves opening simultaneously acting as a means of emergency exit door. SÄLZER is proud to announce it became "part Schüco" during 2018, so you will also receive information about our products and new developments at the Schüco stand 301 located in hall B1.

SAELZER focuses on the future – with SCHÜCO
SAELZER GmbH, Marburg, Germany has an excellent reputation in the construction industry, specialising in high-security products for buildings for over 40 years. In order to further develop and increase the international market share the company has decided to enter into a partnership with Schüco International KG from Bielefeld. Managing Director, Walther Sälzer has informed the employees about this new strategic company partnership during an extraordinary company meeting on the 7th May 2018. At the same meeting staff were introduced to Andreas Engelhardt, the responsible partner on behalf of Schüco. Elke and Walther Sälzer see this step as a way of guaranteeing a long-term investment into the future of the company through the expanion on sales that can come about as part of the Schüco group. Both are convinced that Schüco based on its history and products is the appropriate partner for SAELZER. Walther Sälzer explains: “Schüco develops and sells systems for windows, doors and facades all over the world with great success. Using the Schüco sales structures and worldwide engineering offices will help to further develop the international business and secure the long-term growth of our company”. The company’s business plan envisages the expansion of the international consulting and sales activities as well as the manufacturing and technical support functions at the Marburg site. Andreas Engelhardt, who sees the partnership with SAELZER GmbH as a boost to the company’s own security product portfolio, confirms his commitment to the Marburg site as follows: “We at Schüco have great respect for the company’s expertise and professionalism and we shall continue to rely on Mr and Mrs Sälzer’s wealth of experience and the commitment of the workforce. With its production and testing facilities and all other departments, the site will act as a central base for our efforts to develop global markets.”
